Jobs: New Features for the Online Hiring Process

extended-jpg

As part of the effort to modernize hiring procedures in the Principality, the Department of Social Affairs and Health (DASS), the Labor Directorate, and the Interministerial Delegation for Digital Transition (DITN) sought to make the job search process simpler, faster, and more accessible for employers and job seekers in Monaco.

This modernization is the result of a joint effort by teams from the Labor Department, the Digital Services Department, and the Information Systems Department.

In 2024, a first major milestone was reached in the digitization of the hiring process:

  • Enhancement of the digital tool used by the Labor Department to facilitate and improve communication with employers and job seekers.
  • Launch of the “Employer” and “Job Seeker” sections on MonGuichet: posting, viewing, and managing job listings in real time. More than 2,900 employers and 300 job seekers have already created accounts.
  • Public posting of job openings on MonServicePublic: after the priority period, job openings are visible to everyone, ensuring greater visibility for job opportunities in the Principality.

Starting in March 2026, a new milestone will be reached:

  • A 100% digital hiring process, accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to streamline and accelerate recruitment:
    • Online submission of the hiring form
    • Electronic signing of documents by the employer and the prospective employee
    • Online payment of hiring fees
  • Launch of an online resume database: job seekers will be able to upload their resumes, increase their visibility among employers in the Principality, and expand their job opportunities.

This major development is part of the shared commitment by the DASS and the DITN to offer public services that are more accessible, more streamlined, and better tailored to the needs of all stakeholders in the job market.
