Position sought: Yacht Hydraulics Service Technician – Full-Time | Monaco (with Travel)

Position information

The role will involve repair and maintenance of electro-hydraulic equipment ( Cranes, Passerelles, Swim Platforms, Shell Doors, etc) onboard superyachts.

The work will be undertaken onboard superyachts in the Marinas and at various European shipyard locations from Italy, Monaco, France & Spain.

Occasional worldwide travel for projects is required, as well as occasional work outside regular business hours.

Job Responsibilities:

Refit, Repair and servicing of lifting equipment (especially Cranes and Davits) in accordance with Company and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) procedures and requirements.

Attend Hydraulic Equipment breakdowns – diagnosis, client communication providing technical solutions in a clear manner.

Carry out Thorough Examination and load testing of lifting equipment and accessories in line with Company procedures on clients' equipment to ensure regulatory compliance and report on condition.

Provide accurate and timely written service reports.

Requested profile

Technical qualification in a Mechanical / Hydraulics discipline
Min 5 years experince in hydraulics, electrics, and mechanical systems
Experience with marine or industrial hydraulic systems
Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot issues independently
Ideally LEEA/LOLER certified
Fluent in English (French a plus)
Willingness to travel and adapt to a dynamic schedule
